Dear kenshi Registrations for the ABKF Winter Seminar are now open! More information on . This year marks the 34th year that Hirakawa sensei is coming, as well as his final year! This year ABKF offers you once more a high number of high-grade Japanese as well as Korean sensei! As we expect many participants, the kendo reservations are limited to 100 people maximum per day. Once we reach these numbers, registrations for Kendo keiko will be closed! EKF organises examinations for 6th & 7th dan Kendo and Iaido – Frankfurt (Deu) & Budapest (Hun)

After a long break due to the COVID 19 pandemic, the European KendoFederation was again in capacity to organise for Kendo and Iaido thehigh-level grade examinations. For Kendo, the examinations gathered 86 candidates for 6th dan and 39candidates for 7th dan on the next day of the EKC in Frankfurt. EIC 2019 in Athens, Greece. Belgian Iaido Team report

Just back from the 26 th European Iaido Championship in Athens, the largest until now with over 300 participants and 25 countries. As it was the first time Greece organized the EIC, they did a fantastic job. The hotel was fine, the sayonara party was great and the championship itself went smoothly, thanks to the dedication of the many Greek voluntary assistants. The kakari-in knew what they were doing, results were correctly noted and send trough to the head tables. Thank you, Greece.
