Shinken safety at the event
The use of shinken will be restricted to participants of godan and higher rank. Upon entry to the sports hall, verification of shinken usage will be conducted. Participants utilizing shinken will be provided with a safety pin and ribbon. These identifiers are to be affixed to the left sleeve of the gi and worn throughout the duration of the seminar, with the exception of examinations, to facilitate the clear identification of shinken practitioners.
Participants assume full responsibility for the risks associated with shinken usage. Adherence to all safety protocols disseminated during the seminar, including the maintenance of a three-meter radius distance between practitioners, is mandatory. The ABKF reserves the right to deny further seminar participation to individuals who fail to comply with safety protocols. This decision may be made by ABKF Staff at any time without exception.
